Ever since I’ve got my website back up, the site just hasn’t been acting right. I did a clean install of WP and then did a restore of the WP export from May. But with WP 2.6, there are new features that I’m not seeing. I’ll try it again later today.
The server harddrive that this blog was running on died and had to be replaced. I’ve been working to get everything recovered. I left my website for last. I can’t seem to bet it gack up to speed like it was before. Wordpress doesn’t want to do what I want it to do. I’ll keep poking at things and hope I can get it going again. I will say that thankfully I had done a Wordpress backup of posts in May. One had one newer post to recover.
Things are starting to get back to normal on the server. Kinda, somewhat… sorta
What a way to end the day. Server hard drive failure. Corrupt backup. ARGH!

Will be going to visit my dad today. First time to see him in about 20 years.
